THE BUSINESSMAP FOUNDATION CLOSES

The Board of the BusinessMap Foundation announces the closure of the Foundation. But, the pioneering work of BusinessMap will continue under the auspices of the Centre for Entrepreneurship, currently being established by the Wits Business School (WBS).

The Centre for Entrepreneurship intends to create a dynamic black economic empowerment (BEE) research programme and debating forum, and to recognize excellence in empowerment by continuing with the tradition of the eminent Businessmap BEE Awards.

All information - except the on-line BEE databases - will remain available to the public. Password access to the BEE on-line database is no longer available from September 1, 2007.

The WBS will keep you posted as to the progress of the Centre for Entrepreneurship and its BEE programme, and it looks forward to sustaining the long-standing relationship that many corporations, governments, donor agencies and others have had with the Foundation.
